Hi, my name is Pat, and both my husband and I decided to raise some chickens. We are new to this idea, but now we have 12 chickens which are about two months old. We are enjoying the learning of all the different breeds and how to best take care of our chickens. Mainly we will use them for eggs and possibly having some little chicks. Right now I have done some research and trying to figure out what we have; there is so much to learn and figure out. Reading books and looking at pictures is sometimes overwhelming but fun at the same time.
