Hello, I'm Keedra from Alberta Canada.

(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I am new, we got our girls in August.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
We have 4 (max for the city)
(3) What breeds do you have?
Two silkies a golden laced Wyandotte and a BLRW
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Aids in being self sufficient, plus we love them as pets.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
My husband and I are big craft nerds lol
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
We are a family of 8, but the oldest three are grown. So there is 5 of us in the house. Along with our hens we have two cats and two dogs. I'm a Doula and my husband is a courier.

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? I've been using it for over a year as we were researching getting urban hens
