(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
A couple years ago, im not new but I do not know too much about them other then how to feed and slightly medicate them as well as their behaviour and attitudes and their predators.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Around 11 or 12 but over all the time I have had them I would say near 120.
(3) What breeds do you have?
Silkie, lohmann Brown and a few others.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
The eggs they make and the overall attitude of chickens and how ecologically good they are for the environment and my own garden!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Im into sports and like taking care of a range of other animals which I know a lot better then chickens.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I live in a large household with my parents and my sister, we have a very large garden and I have 2 dogs and 2 cats.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
Honestly, just the internet.
