(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? No we are not new but new to some breeds.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 30 but that includes 7 babies just hatched.

(3) What breeds do you have? Bantam, Brahma, bard rock

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? Watching them grow and have there own personalities.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Just doing stuff as a family playing with the rc cars the fast and expensive ones lol.

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. My loving family of three hubby and son we love farm animals we have 2 dogs as well as chickens goats and now rabbits. I work in retail (Ron Jon surf shop ) ❤️Hubby work in construction

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? :D. I found it by googleing a question I had about bantam egg hatching I joined because I seen all the support everyone has for one another about questions being asked
 
Congratulations on adding expanding your breeds and on joining this community. There are plenty of helpful, knowledgeable folks here, and with your experience, it sounds like you'll be one of them!

BTW, I adore all chickens, but how can anyone resist the absolute cuteness of Bantams? Especially tiny baby Bantams?

:frow Welcome from New Orleans. I have always had large breed chickens. Last year we saved a bantam hen and her chick from a hurricane. The hen, Midge disappeared on us for a while. I found her a few days ago with a clutch of 15 chicks under my house. Her original chick turned out to be a Rooster, T-Boy. I hope you enjoy your time here.
