Hi,
My name is Don. My wife Lisa and I have some acrage in East Texas. We have a few head of cattle an been dabbling in chickens for a few years now. Its an interesting experience, with ups and downs. In the past we have let the birds free range. Unfortunately we've lost many to predators. Today, after the four remains adult birds returned to the pen, I shut and locked the gate. The pen is 40 x 30 feet, so they have plenty of room. Last Saturday my daughter brought home 10 week old pullets, they are in a brooder. Yesterday I brought home an assortment of 12 week old pullets. That's it for now.
