Hi just a quick introduction. My husband Scott and I are busy building our homestead, which is how we intend to spend our retirement. We are so excited to have added 4 Silver- Laced Wyandotte chicks as our new chicken flock. We live in Central Michigan.

Build big. Sooner or later, you'll want colored eggs. That will mean more hens, of different breeds. Then one or more, hens will go broody...so chicks. Then you'll fall for a rooster...fertile eggs and more chicks. You see how this goes?
