Hello! My name is Elizabeth.

My husband and I started raising chickens a little over a year ago. We have 5 chickens right now, 2 golden comets, 2 silkies and 1 americauna. I love that they are so easy to take care of, that it’s a gateway into homesteading and the eggs!! And they’re just so fun to watch. Some of my other hobbies include crocheting, knitting and reading. One other thing about us, we have a cat who is absolutely terrified of our chickens. What made me finally join this community was that I had specific questions that google or Facebook could answer and it’s nice to hear input from many different people.

😊
