Hi. My name is Keysha. Im in Delaware.
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Yes, I am new to chickens. My mom always had them while I was growing up, but I was never the caretaker.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
8
(3) What breeds do you have?
Known breeds include: 2 black australorp, 2 Wyandotte, 1 midnight majesty maran, 1 black sex link and 2 bantams of unknown breed
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
We just got our flock moved into their coop so im very new but so far i have really enjoyed watching them grow and tryingto bond with them
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I do macrame, hiking, kayaking, cooking, baking, playing with my dog, reading, writing and painting.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have 2 adult daughters and a new grandson who is 4 months old. I have a 4 year old pitbull who is my soul companion. I do DOT compliance from home.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I just discovered this app on Google a few minutes ago while attempting to research my bantam breed.
