Introduction

Hi my name is Holly. I live in Montana and have 3 chickens. They are a year old. This is my first time having chickens. Recently one of our ladies went broody on us and a friend gave us some fertilized eggs to see what happens. Well so far we have lost 4 eggs. 1 hatched 3 days ago but the baby has deformities and momma kicked it out. It is eating and drinking with human assistance. 1 egg to go. Due date was yesterday on the last egg. Next month my fiancé, sons and I are going to build a new and larger weatherproof coop. Any coop plans or general chicken info is appreciated. I have a thread started with info and picks on the chick.
