I got my first flock last year. Just received a new batch of 8 chicks. Overall have been a chicken owner for a year.

12 total. 4 fully grown and 8 baby chicks.

- Barred Cochin
- Salmon Favorella
- Buff Orpington
- Barred Rock

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?

Working in new projects for the chickens. Their personalities. The eggs of course. They are great animals and pets and have brought us a lot of joy (and headaches lol)

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?

Music and gaming. Housework and rennovations. Lawn work.

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.

Married with a dog, chickens, and hamster.

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? :D

Found this website when having medical problems with my chicken. Have used it extensively for any questions or concerns I have had and it's been an amazing resource.
