Introduction

Sounds like we have similar backgrounds; we always had chickens when I was growing up, but they were Dad's responsibility not mine. There's so much more to learn and know when the flock is actually yours.

And, this is a great place for gaining those skills! It's a community of folks who enjoy helping others with their challenges and cheering their successes.

Welcome to BYC, and best wishes with your flock!

:welcome

Congrats on starting a flock of your own...what breeds do you have?
Thanks everyone! I have seven total right now - an assortment which includes two Easter Eggers, a Red Star, an Australorp, a Salmon Faverolles who is turning out to be a cockerel, a Cream Legbar, and a Lavender Ameraucana. :)
