(I would like to clarify this before I begin: I have been in this community before on another account, but I was looking for a fresh start, thank you!)
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I am new to chickens, and I first started raising them in may this year!
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Currently, I own three young chickens. I'm pleading they all survive!
(3) What breeds do you have?
I have an Australorp mix who looks like a little penguin and has enchanting brown eyes and two Lohmann Browns! (I also have eighteen eggs, most being silkies and olive easter-eggers)
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
That when they grow up, you can feel proud that you raised these birds.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I enjoy hiking on the mountain or in forests, watching the sunrise or sunset, writing and illustrating stories, sketching, and so much more!
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I am seriously in need of tips and a bit sad at the moment, as a couple of my chickens have sadly passed away either due to weakness or disease. I'm also looking for anyone who'd like to take roosters.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? : D
