(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? No, not new to chickens but first time incubating and hatching. The first time I got chickens was in 2017.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 14
(3) What breeds do you have? Polish, Sapphire Gems, Bard Rock, Silkies, Leghorn, Americana, Buff Brahma, Silkie-Bard Rock mix.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? Watching them running and jumping, plus fresh eggs.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. - I am a married mom of 3 kids, two girls and a boy. I have a Dachshund and Great Pyrenees-Anatolian Shepard mix dog.
