Hi, I just discovered this site when looking for some information about duckling hatching since i have some pipping currently. I've had chickens and ducks for about 6 months and have previously raised them when i was younger in 4H but this is my first official time haveing my own flock. This last month I've tried my hand at hatching some chicks and ducks and have had relatively good success. Currently my flock is a mix of breeds, everything from RIRs to Easter eggers to Silkies. My ducks are mostly Anaconas with some Runner and Khaki Campbell mixes.
Other than raising chickens and ducks I recently started raising pigs, mostly kunekune mixes. Should be expecting piglets in the next few months! I also enjoy gardening and landscaping around my property. Outside of that I work as a Forester and enjoy being outside hiking and being in the woods with my 3 doggies. Super excited to hopefully being able to learn more about chickens and ducks from this site.
