Introduction

Hello; I'm Dan. I first "got" chickens in June 1952, when I was given responsibility for my family's two flocks: one layers and one meat. I have raised chickens off and on since then. I currently have two flocks, both Leghorns, The pullets are just starting, and the cockerels will soon be invited to dinner. I plan to add Jersey Giants and Black Australorps as separate flocks.
I have been quite pleased to see that the chickens fad has matured into something deeper and more permanent,
I am interested in anything to do with caponizing; that is the purpose for the Giants.
