Hello All,
I am a first year Chicken Raiser. My family and my husbands family raised chickens but this is the first year for us. I am learning a lot and love the chickens. I have 10 hens a Rhode Island Red Rooster and 3 little banties.
My husband built our Coop and it has plenty of room to grow. It is 8 x 12 with a 12 x 18 run out back. We have 6 nesting boxes and and a 5 step perch for the night. We have Windows with wire over them for ventilation. My DH did this without plans and did a great job if I do say so myself.
I am looking forward to learning and sharing many things in this forum and hope to be a valubale asset to you all as I know you will be to me.
