what is the best way to introduce new hens to the rest of the flock?

I just did it but it was only2 new ones put them in a seperate cage that I have in the the run so everybody could get to know one another with out getting hurt did this for 3 days and turned them loose worked great the 2 new ones found their place in the pecking order with out to much trouble good luck
