Hello,
My name is Andie and I'm a brand new chicken owner. I never understoood why people went so crazy about their chickens until...well....now! I love these girls so much already! We have 3 Leghorns and 3 Rhode Island Reds. They are about 5 months and haven't started to lay, but we hope to see our first egg within the next month. It's been almost 3 weeks and they're all still alive. They've finally begun to wander in the yard a bit and they wait at the gate every morning for us....LOVE!!!
Anyhow, I hope to learn more about these girls from this site and share our experience.
