Hey guys! My name is Kory, I am just starting out, actually I haven't even gotten my first chicks yet. I am a total animal lover, I raise Sphynx cats and I will be raising Devon Rex Cats in the future. I have spent time with my friends and stepdads chickens and fell in love I never thought that I even liked chickens and kinda thought they were ugly. Well the leghorns and similar breeds anyway. I saw some beautiful chickens with feathered feet, my best friend has some of all different breeds and I got obsessed. I originally wanted just some Cochins or Brahmas. I started checking out different hatcheries and looking at the birds they had for sale and I thought it would be a great idea to get some layers as well because I love eggs and eat a lot of them and they arnt getting any cheaper in the stores that for sure!!! Lol. I have rhode island reds coming as well as Orpingtons, and Ameraucanas for eggs. Then I have assorted Cochin Bantams coming too just as pets.
