Hello, and welcome! It sounds like you have many blessings! The coop, the surprise EE, wonderful family, and the beagle.

My beagle spent 2 years hunting with champions. At 24 mos it was realized he ain’t nothing but a hound dog. He ain’t never caught a rabbit, so he became a house dog. You can see how he hates it.
Good luck with yours, and remember to never fully trust it.
