My 6 Tetra Tint pullets are 5-1/2 weeks today, big and fully feathered. My 8 Production Reds are at 4 weeks today, not feathered all the way and the majority of them stack up to half the size or more than half the size of the big TT's. They have been side by side able to see each other since the sixth of April(this month

). They now are together in a 3x7 brooder pen with a divider made of chicken wire split down the middle.

Today I want to take out the divider, however it will be at least 1 week at most 2 before there outside in the 8x8 coop. Sooooo my question is, Should I go ahead and let them be together and take out the divider? Is there a good way to go about this if so? All advice is helpful.

Go ahead and take the divider out but watch them closely to make sure that the the bigger ones do no peck the little ones to much there will be some pecking and chasing for a week or so as they figure out pecking order again since each group has their pecking order worked out now. I think at first you will see the 2 flocks staying apart. Good luck.
