Hey Bobbi, yes it is Julie. Orpingtons are good. Showed two blues and two blacks at the Ohio National. Had a great time. Met lots of folks. They all placed even though they were still farily young. From my understanding there are a lot more Orps shown in the Minnisota area.. With interest spiking, maybe that won't remain in a few years. There were lots of silkies shown at Ohio. They were Beautiful. Shari Mccollough had some really great looking silkies and Cochins and there was another fellow there I met who had some really nice whites.
I have to admit 5800 plus being shown and all the sales birds were a bit overwhelming. Loved it. I will email ya when I get to where I can sit at the puter more than five min. Hope you get better.

You just didn't know I'd pop up here. The only reason I got on was because of Little Ameraucana Mom told me about the thread with my picture. I'm glad she did! Lots going on at BYC.

Thanks Julie, I am getting better. Gotta go tend to the animals. Did I tell you I got a couple horses? I love my property! The boy goat loves them and when he gets too close when they're eating hay, they charge him and he faints and they trip over him... or hurdle him! His feet sticking straight up! LOL! Luckily they are all sweet and he's realized they don't "want" him. He's a wether and wouldn't know what to do even if they were his size. Great to here from you. We'll catch up soon. Bobbi

It was about time you got on here and talked to everyone. !! LOL !! Like half the people on here I have chicks from Bobbi also. My latest are 4 black lavender splits, 1 lavender, and I think a partridge.. All gorgeous of course, even though they are in that not so cute stage.

OK... 3chickens. email me at [email protected] and tell me who you are. I can't imagine any age of Silkie being "not so cute"

but I do know the stage you are talking about. The stage where you have to look them in the eye and watch them play to see their cuteness!

Mee to mine from Bobbi are in that stage..Everyday they look a little different...

Hey Bobbi How are ya We are on here too. Sorry I havent had time to get any pictures of Goliaths boy for ya but hes so big. Like everyone fhere our silkies are beuatiful but I guess I am kinda more into athe blue giants. We have been thinking of showing Indy (one of our first chicks from you) at the Lake City Show Colbalt(Goliaths son) isn't quite as blue as Indy so I think he will do better in the show. Hes not as large (dont know any bird who is) but his feathering is beautiful and he has a very good size and shape. Glad to see you on here. Micki

Hi Micki!
Thanks for checking in with me. I might be on here more often now that I've got the hang of it... and the link pegged and my options so that my regular email is notified. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving! I'm thinking of going to Lake City too.

Next we need a "Lake City Show-Who's going?" link
