As club historian for the Iowa Blue Chicken Club, I'm working on a project to gather a general breed census to get a feel for where breeders are obtianing their stock from as well as which type they are raising, and how many. I'm also trying to locate breeders who may be raising stock from lines that have limited numbers or possibly lines that haven't been "discovered" yet.

*****Note, this is not an official census for the breed club, but a research project that I am working on to help us gain a better understanding of the overall breed population and its genetic diversity.*****
