Ipod and the EEs

I got these little EE babies on May 8 when they were a few days old.

I also got Ipod, a little buff orpington with a bad eye that the feedstore manager thought was going to die. I cleaned her eye daily with a warm wet cotton ball. This was when I got her.

And this is Ipod a month later:

She's doing really well! Her eye is a bit cloudy, but she is unaffected by it and is thriving. I'm so happy!

Here is the little EE with the brown on her head when we got her:

And today:

This one had a few black spots on her back:

She still has the spots:

And she's beautiful!

This one was pure white and such a fluffy cheek baby!

And she's still white, with a few brownish feathers on her wings:

They were my first white EE chicks and I'm so pleased with how they're growing up! Finally, some EEs that are different!!!

One can never have enough EEs!!!

I'm happy about Ipod's happy ending, too. I was worried that her eye would be destroyed under the scab. But, it came off and healed up nicely. She's a lucky bird.
