Do Sebrights typically have purple and green iridescence in their black? My golden sebright girl (I hope, I hope!) has a ton of purple in her black, and the silver boy has a fair amount of green.

Here's a close up of a gold and a silver Sebright:

I know black birds should have a green sheen and not purple. Im not sure if its the same for the black on laced birds though.

Beautiful!
We finally have been getting some decent spring weather here, so the little babies have been going outside quite a bit. They are just about 7 weeks, and I just noticed that the golden in particular has a lot of purple sheen to her/him.
Thanks for the answer, you can't always tell just from pictures!

I believe the lacing should be a glossy Black (with out Purple sheen).
