Iridescent feathers- always a roo?

Our 8 week gold-laced bantam polish's feathers are getting an iridescent all over. Does this always indicate a roo? There are no other indicators to sex it. I believe it is too early for the saddle feathers and I can see no comb.

This doesn't show the iridescent feathers, but it does show just how beautiful the bird is.
 
No, lots of black hens also have iridescent feathers (australorps, black sex links, etc.) I see no reason why it shouldn't happen on a polish. Maybe someone with more experience with the breed will be able to get an idea of sex from the crest shape though?
