(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Since I married 1968 I went from city life boring!! I always wanted to have farm animals so I had goats, chickens, cattle, horses, rabbits etc. you name it I had it.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now? I have 30 and 27 new female chicks

(3) What breeds do you have? Road Island Reds

(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com? Google

(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Hunting and fishing anything with the wild outdoors.

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. Since I married into a ranch not knowing absolutely zit about ranching or farming I thought cows would eat meat HAHA. When my children were old enough to to join 4-H they showed lambs, rabbits and capones and I love capones they could only show 1 each out of 8 and guess who had the rest I fixed them and they are delicious so I'm looking for capones to raise. I've called everywhere around here and nobody knows what they are.
