People never cease to amaze me! ....... I have guineas, so try not too worry to much, they are great survivors... mine always roost out in the trees summer or winter and they are great at knowing when danger is about....I for one would not be without them, best scouts in the yard.. if someone approaches the property all hell lets loose.

and I hope your DH is feeling better soon.

I live in the city and things get dumped all the time roosters chickens turleys ducks everything. My grandma has Guineas and she lives where all the predators lurk. She had a mountain lion on her back porch the other day and all her guineas stay safe high in the trees so dont worry about them.

We too have had dumpers do the same so far 4 cats 2 dogs.
rehomed and a few chx taken.
now we have our chickens and 3 cats. and a shot gun at the door.there go the tires.....LoL

wow - and yep. welcome to the club. our specialty is cats with expensive vet bills.

now if only someone would have dumped a couple of feeder pigs.... drat.
