Irritated feet

It looked like one scale was, we looked all over her today for mites didn't see any. The Feed store recommended putting down Diatomaceous Earth for them to dust bath in.
Feather mites are different from scaly leg mites which I don't think are visible at a glance. I used Castor Oil massaged into the skin to suffocate them. Works good and not as messy as vaseline for example.

Thank you, I'll get some, I'm sure the pharmacy has it.

I put some in the little bottle, put the bird on your lap and apply a few drops, spread over skin of shanks and feet.

:frow The second to last picture you uploaded....those legs/feet look pretty swollen.
Have you checked the bottom of the feet for bumble foot?

I would say leg mites, and yes, check the bottom of their feet. Oil their legs, or spray cooking spray on their legs to kill the leg mites. Treat their roosts too.

Thank you for your help, definitely going to oil their legs, and look for something to treat the roosts.
