I'm guessing you are talking about eggs? If so, then it kind of depends on your breeds -- some birds are bred for production and some are bred for... appearance, temperament, egg color. My Easter Eggers haven't laid an egg for weeks. My Barred Rock and Light Brahma, though one is outside where it is cold and dark and one is inside where it is light and warm rarely miss a day. My cochin has gone broody.
All birds will take a break of some sort from a few days to several weeks. The days are shorter now and it is very cold. Lots of owners take this opportunity to worm their birds as the worming medication suggestions that the eggs be discarded for 14 days.
