Is 5 girls enough?

I have 6 pekins. One drake and five ducks. Will 5 females be enough to keep him away from chickens? I've read that if they don't have enough females they will try to mate with chickens.

It should be unless he is very umm, hard working?

That ratio should work. I never had a problem except when I had too many drakes. Even when I had just 1 pair of muscovy, the drake never went after the ducks.

Yes a 1:5 ratio should keep him away from your hens.
