Hi, my poor girl Snowy has been deteriorating lately she has lost her appetite and has been lethargic, this evening as I am locking them in her comb is kind of a dark blue colour at the edges, is she reaching the end of her life?

Has she finished her eggs?

My two RIR hens have blue tips on the top of there waddle, but thats how its been since they were young. (There waddles tip over since there huge, so thats why.)

It is possible especially at that age and symptoms. Have you dewormed recently?

Any other symtoms? How's her poop? Check her crop first thing in the morning before access to food or water and see if it's empty, if not report findings here. How does it feel? Any odor from mouth? Vent clean?

Can you bring her inside? Give her some Nutridrench? if you have any?
Try to get her to eat some cooked egg or drink some sugar water if you don't have Nutridrench. Is her poo watery? Can she hold her head up?

She has yellow stained feathers around her vent from muck but otherwise ok, her crop was empty, she has been wormed recently but her poop was greenish
How is she doing? Empty crop during the day is not good but you want it empty first thing in the morning. Green poop can mean malnutrition or starvation. Is she eating? Try wetting her food so it's an oatmeal-like mush, or offer her scrambled egg or tuna. Dark comb can mean not enough oxygen, possible heart issue.
