Hi all.
I've always read that I can expect my pair of Ebden geese to lay one egg every 1 to 3 days. However, after my female laid her vey first egg on Friday, I was dumbfounded to see that over a period of only about 1 hour on the Saturday, she proceeded to lay no fewer than 8 more eggs (I know this time frame was accurate as she was locked out of our courtyard for most of the day where she had her nest). She then laid a further egg on the Sunday, making 10 eggs in just 3 days !
Is this normal ????
Sue.
