Is a 45 degree ramp angle too steep?

For chickens going from the henhouse floor to roosts or nest boxes, is a 45 degree ramp angle too steep? If 45 degrees is too steep, what is the maximum angle you would recommend?

45 degrees shouldn't be too steep. Thats about how the ramps in my coop are. Just make sure you have some kind of little pegs or cleats for the chickens to grab on to so they don't fall off.

Nope, and if yours are like mine, most bypass the ramp and use the wings God gave them to get in the henhouse and up to their nest boxes.
