Is a coop ever really done?

we built our first coop in Feb of last year, already we have added a "condo" for the silkies and a fenced run! It is a never ending cycle of building. Good thing hubby has a sense of humor!

I find I'm running into the constant "coop reno" thing here too. We converted an old shed that was real derelict and made a nice tight coop for the girls. Then we built a run and doubled the size of the run almost immediately. First we used chicken wire but I read about needing to use hard cloth if you have raccoons and skunks, so we re-did the wire. Now we've redone the laying boxes, replaced the original floor because I didn't like how soft it felt (always was afraid it would give out when I was in there with a lap full of chickens), then we re-set the roosting bars, then put in a poop board, then hung the waterers and feeders........Now contemplating putting in a big corner waterer and when I get that done I think i want another coop and run for more chickens...AAAAAHHHHHHHHH chicken math!
