Is a human door between coop and run necessary?

We are building our coop and the current framing is a human door to the coop and a human door to the run, but only a poultry door between the coop and run. Is it necessary for me to be able to access the run directly from the coop?

I think a door that leads into the coop and into the run is all you need. We just put the chicken door that leads to the coop from the run and close it at night. Hope this helps!

I have both, if it understand your meaning and it works well. It would be difficult for me to clean the coop without one.
Perhaps I misunderstood ?
Calins,
