Is a pool (human) bad?

So my white call boy followed me onto the porch while I was doing afternoon chores. He then dove into our pool and is swimmng laps unwilling to come out currently. He has his own pool, but I guess our in ground was too tempting. Is he ok to swim in there? We haven't heated it yet for the spring so it is sitting unused by the family for about another week.

I don't know about bad for them. But I don't know if I would want a duck in the pool I swim in , they like to poo while swimming! Take pic today and discourage it the rest of the time!

Probably depends on what chemicals you've treated your pool with.

Bad. They also drink while swimming, and chlorine kills good bacteria as it does bad bacteria.

Thanks all, he is out and locked out of the pool enclosure too. We hadn't done the spring shock (on the to do list) so our chlorine levels are low, until I go dump it in later and turn the system on. No more ducks in the our pool.
