I have one hen that's been laying thin-shelled eggs. They were so thin that they'd be broken every time. Now, the past couple of times, the shells were getting better (evidently she's been in the oyster shell

) but still managed to get broken.

Well, yesterday there was one that seemed quite a bit better, but I could tell that it still wasn't as strong as it could be.

Is it ok to eat?

Oh, and the inside of the eggs have looked perfect...big orange yolks and all.

There is a post on her somewhere, where they ate the egg. So, I am assuming it's okay.

Maybe someone else will know first hand.

Of course you can eat the egg. Just handle it gently so it doesn't break before you want it to.
