is all grit the same ?

i just got new chicks a week ago and want to stat giving them grit is it ok for me to give them the same grit i give my older chicks or is there a difference ?

I dont know, never bought grit, other than parakeet grit, for chicks. Probably finer than for older birds, I'd think. If your chicks are only on starter with no extra other than perhaps hardboiled egg and/or yogurt, there is no need for grit. They only need it for grinding grains and greens.

Yes, there's a difference in size. Chick grit and # 2 is larger for older birds. idk if there are other sizes.
