My cockatiel has a wing that will not grow back. Last time the wing was clipped was 1.5 years ago. Poor boy keeps getting blood feathers on that side. My vet suggested placing the cockatiel in a clear plastic tub for a few months to help heal his wing. He says that the wired cage may be causing continued damage. I want to know if anyone has used a 40 gallon aquarium for the job? Please no posts about weather one should clip flight feathers or not. I am way beyond that. Thanks in advance to anyone who responds.
