Is anyone Hatching on the 8th????

My chicks are due to hatch on the 8th of June...They are under my broody hen...anyone else due to hatch then?

Ive got some due to hatch on the 10th.
6 BCM, 6 SS (shipped eggs from Bargain) and 4 EE, and 3 White Rosecomb from my chickens.
I have candled a few randomly and have veining.

That's great! Chicks hatch better under broodies, but I don't have any around, unfortunately... Just my incubator, which holds a temperature within 0.1F.

I just candled mine. 5 out of 6 BCM are veining, 6 out of 8 ss are veining, I still can't see anything through the EE blue shell, and unfortunately the little banty eggs don't seem to be fertile.

I candled mine and like I said saw veining and the black eyeball thing so I'm hoping all are still ok. I did have one egg that looked like it was pecked or something because it had a hole in it. I turned it onto its side and some fluid came out but not alot. Then I was thinking well if a chick was inside it was prob dead. I took it into the kitchen and put down a plastic bag and a couple paper towels. I cracked it open out of curiosity since I have never seen what it looks like when they are forming. The little embryo was alive! I could see the heart beating

My youngest who is 7 was so upset he was crying.. Now I feel like a chick murderer!

I didn't know they could still survive when the egg had a big hole in it.

I'm hatching on the 7th and the 10th!

So far it seems to be going pretty good. I had to cull 3 eggs and I have 3 more that are questionable... but I'm giving them the benefit of a doubt for a day or two.

We're due on the 7th in a bator, 15th under a broody hen and 16th in the bator... plus we'll get 13 poults in the mail that week as well

OK i just checked on my eggs under the broody and I hear them peeping!!! Does that mean they will be coming out soon???
