Hello, is there anyone in the UK incubating goose and duck eggs?
I'm a complete first-timer at incubating having waited for years to be in a position to keep birds! I have four Exhibition Dewlaps, two White African Dewlaps and six Muscovies in my Brinsea Octagon!
I'm trying as best I can to dry incubate and I'm averaging 31% humidity on a daily basis - cooling the eggs for about fifteen minutes while I candle them each day, and just misting them once a day with warm water. Please can anyone tell me if this seems okay - very nervous newcomer to all this!! So much information out there that my head is spinning! I have Rob Harvey's book on incubation and am constantly referring to the hatching guides here on BYC!
The eggs are at different stages and I do have a separate still-air incubator for hatching.
Thank you!
