I set eggs and didn't realize they were set to hatch on Easter until I went to write down the date. I will have to say I will probably do this every year now. How cool is it to hear the chicks on this special day? It really does make me think of the resurrection. Dave
We did the same stinken thing (accident and all)and they all finished hatching yesterday and during the night .kids woke up to a note from the easter bunny, thanking them for such a great job.
No kids here except my Inner Child, which has been delighted with chicks hatching this weekend. I agree - it's the BEST scheduled hatch date ever!
What a wonderful Easter present!!!! We hatched ours last week at school and that was close enough to make them Easter chicks.... the kids loved it.
