There are 5 eggs that have pipped, 4 have pipped in the air cell & 1 has pipped at the other end of the egg. Not in the air cell. Pipped the pointy end of the egg. ( I marked on all the eggs where the air cells are so i would know how big they are.) Some air cells are big/almost half the egg. Is this bad? ~ Just recently this egg had pipped & i seen the egg still moving. There isnt much room in that egg dont know how it could pip there. ~ IS THE BABY UP SIDE DOWN? Thanks, ~Julie~

Yes baby is upside down, I had 1 in my last lot that pipped the wrong end, when i got up it was out the shell. Big air cells are good

Is the crack in the egg on the upper side of the egg or facing downwards??? Eiher way- the duckling will still be able to hatch, but it may take a day or two longer than the others. That is what I generally find happens with the eggs I have. Because of the restricted room to move the baby takes longer to absorb the yolk and blood from the veins. Also- when they unzip - sometimes they crack off only a small " lid" and have issues with being able to push themselves out of the smaller hole.
