Is Bella Blue a Roo??

We bought 4 chicks that were sexed and so we thought we got 4 pullets. Now Bella is starting to turn pink and we are thinking maybe roo? She is three weeks old and the only one of our eight with a pink face. We don't have another self blue banty to compare her with so we aren't sure.

With that big of comb at 4 weeks I would say roo.

If it starts to turn red next week then roo for sure.

My guess would be bella Blue needs a name change. Blue Boy

Hey the comb ain't a 100% thing, I've had hens with bigger combs than the roos.

Well if it is a true Blue Bell then it is a hen..
Bluebells are a Sex-link breed and are a cross between a Marans and a Rhode Island Red....

Three weeks with that large pinkish comb, says roo to me but you may have to wait a little longer to be sure. Hope you can keep the chick if a roo.
