JUST started having these suspicious booty feathers but they arent pointy.

Others from hatch dont have them, but they are all random mixes with maran dad. Bella likely has a Maran pops with an easter egger mama. She has a beard.

I really hope shes still a little lady, but getting sus.

I remember having reservations about another easter egger last year who has suspicious pointy looking neck feathers and have heard *sometimes* young EE can give mixed signs.

I do think so too, just still a bit of doubt. She is my favorite from the hatch but she HATES me HAHA. Probably not best to keep a roo who hates you, so crossing my fingers Bella does not become Mortimer.

Those saddle and hackle feathers are looking a bit suspicious, but the comb isn't red like I'd expect by that age for a cockerel.

100% a pullet. She’s got a female specific feather pattern and a tiny pale comb. Plenty of eggs in your future!
