Is Blackjack 57 safe?

Can I apply this while temperature is in the 60's (high) and 40's (low)? It won't warm up until next week and I need the chickens out of my house ASAP!

When we used it in May, our dry time was fast, less then 8 hours. We applied both coats in one day. We seem to have better luck with a brush by the end both times we have used it.

I have almost finished building my coop and this thread piqued my interest. I just read the Safety Data sheet on Blackjack's website and it says "Do not use in drinking water or food systems." Isn't a chicken coop a type of food system since you eat the chickens or the eggs or both?? It also contains a known carcinogen and a possible carcinogen. It does say that because its an encapsulated mixture there is less chance of exposure to harmful particles. It also says not to sand it, so if you use sand on top of the blackjack and then put a bunch of scratching pecking chickens in there is that enough to cause some sort of "sanding" to occur? Does anyone who has used this see any marks or anything in it from chickens pecking or scratching or from rakes etc? Does it seem to "wear down"??
