Are we talking self-buff in chickens?


Because if so, it isn't just a single gene we can consider as recessive or dominant. So, it technically depends on the E base we breed it to, doesn't it?

(example - Buff x Wheaten makes a buff-esque bird but Buff x Birchen makes a black and brown looking bird)
