Hi again - I was hoping to get some confirmation of whether my pearl star leghorn, Butterscotch is a he or a she. I have 5 different breeds in my flock and am a first timer, so as you might guess it is a bit confusing when one grows much larger than the others. There is no base line.

She is 13.5 weeks and sweetheart, but appears to be bigger than the others. I’m grateful for any opinions.

I’m happy to send additional photos if necessary. Thank you!!!

Thanks!! That is good to know! And i am very happy and relieved. This is my first experience with chicks so everything is new and am learning a ton. Time to open the nesting boxes! I’ve kept them closed off because others mentioned to keep them off limits until they are ready to lay. You are all very helpful...sincerest thanks

Congrats on your little girly! I hope you enjoy your new chicken experiences.
these girls are so special and I’m lucky to have them. BYC has been an amazing resource. Thank you for the positivity and great information. I hope to be able to help someone else
