Is BYC Experiencing Cabin Fever?

Is that what it is? :lau

10pm hubs co worker called him. (Hubs is the supervisor)
11pm strange noise outside set the dogs inside to barking
12am another noise outside
1am had to pee
2am hubs got up due to "hearing something" after dog inside went all guard mode
3am someone close by caught something in a trap and it was screaming.....maybe a fox. Yup dogs inside set to barking
4am finally laid back down
5am the coffee pot woke the same dog who then decided she needed out.

:barnie I am tired. :(

But HEY! It's SPRING today!!!!

That was a whole day's activity crammed into one night!

I totally appreciate her reacting to strange noises. I just wish there wasn't so much going on last night.

Several years ago someone broke into 3 of our vehicles making 2 undrivable due to ripped up wiring during theft attempt and vandalized the interior of my one ton truck. :(

If the dog barks we get up. even if it turns out not to be much.

That's terrible! I can see why you'd be extra vigilant.

The worst part was due to a tornado hitting a nearby town it was 8 weeks before insurance could get to our claims......gas was $4+ a gallon and I was stuck commuting 30 miles to work in the damaged one ton.
That got expensive.

That's kind of like adding insult to injury. Were the guilty parties ever caught?

I call fail on your insurance company. Unless the company insures every home and vehicle in that town there's no excuse for that.

I work for an insurance company and would have been more than irritated.

And yes, moon madness is real imho. Sit with me on the phone during the week of the full moon and you'll believe it too :gig

Yes we were miffed about it.
oh lol almost forgot that just 2 weeks earlier I got my car out of the shop with a new engine.
:barnie:barnie

Then after assessment by insurance there was down time for repairs.

No. Although a neighbor told hubby he had run a group of teenagers away from his cars.

Years ago someone broke into our house while we were at work and stole some things (including a handgun). The neighbor across the street saw that person leaving our house with our things. The police would NOT go talk to the neighbor...said if the neighbor wanted to hire a lawyer and go into the police station to make a statement, then they would talk to the neighbor.

That never did make sense to me. Guess there's just so much of that sort of thing going on, it's not that big of deal to the authorities.

That makes zero sense.....I thought they were supposed to get witness statements.
:hmm
